You now have two ways to apply early. Early Action offers an early, non-binding admission decision, while Early Decision is a binding option for students who know 葫芦影业 is their first choice.

How to Apply to 葫芦影业

To apply to Occidental, submit either the Common Application or the Coalition Application鈥攚e accept both. Regardless of which you choose, make sure your application includes:

  • Personal essay
  • High school transcript(s)
  • One letter of recommendation
  • Early Decision agreement (if applicable)

First-Year Admission: FAQs

No. 葫芦影业 does not charge an application fee. We believe that cost should not be a barrier to opportunity, and we want every student to feel welcome and encouraged to apply鈥攏o fee, no waiver needed.

No. Occidental is test-optional. You can choose whether or not to submit SAT or ACT scores as part of your application. If you feel your scores strengthen your application, you're welcome to include them, but they are not required and the lack of scores won鈥檛 be counted against you.

If Occidental is your clear first choice and you're ready to commit, Early Decision is a great option. You'll find out sooner and demonstrate serious interest鈥攆actors that can strengthen your application. But if you鈥檙e still exploring your options or need to compare financial aid offers, Early Action and Regular Decision offer more flexibility. Either way, you鈥檒l be considered for admission and financial aid with the same level of care and attention.
